Vt. joins 41 states in tobacco sales settlement

Intro:

The state of Vermont is joining with dozens of other states in an agreement that calls on a convenience store chain to take steps to reduce the sale of cigarettes and other tobacco products to minors.

Attorney General William Sorrell says Vermont, 40 states and the District of Columbia are parties to the agreement with Circle K Stores Inc. and Mac's Convenience Stores LLC.
